How to Expedite a Chinese Visa

China is one of the many beautiful countries to visit. To enter, you must have a passport and a visa. Depending on the reason you will visit China, you should apply for the appropriate visa. Continue to read and learn about the types of visas and how to get it.

Requirements to Apply

Before you apply, look at the conditions the Chinese government impose for anyone who wishes to visit China. Once you meet the criteria, you can apply. The requirements include:

  • A passport with at least six months validity
  • The passport must have one or more blank pages

If your passport does not meet both criteria, apply for a new one.

Documents You Will Need to Get a Chinese Visa

To get a Chinese visa, you must provide an application. The application will include:

  • A valid passport with blank pages
  • A passport size photo
  • Completed visa application

When you are completing the application, provide the necessary papers that pertain to the type of visa you need. Otherwise, your application can be denied.

For minors traveling, a copy of their birth certificate is needed for entry. If the minor is traveling with one parent, an authorization for travel must be provided by the parent not going. Both parents must approve travel if the minor is traveling alone.

How to Get a Chinese Visa Form

You have two options to get a form. The first is to pick up a copy at an embassy or consulate. If you live near an embassy or consulate, it would be convenient to do. The next option is to visit the website and print a copy. The form includes four pages, so whichever way you decide to get it to make sure you get more than one copy.

Types of Chinese Visas

There are eight visas offer by China. They are:

  • Tourist Visa
  • Business Visa
  • Student Visa
  • Work Visa
  • Crew Visa
  • Journalist Visa
  • Transit Visa
  • Permanent Visa

You can contact the embassy or consulate for more information on the requirements for the one you will need. Each visa has an expiration date. So, once you receive it, you must be ready to travel.
